ATM Tahmiduzzaman
ATM Tahmiduzzaman is an accomplished advocate with over 20 years of experience in the legal field. He specializes in a wide range of areas, including corporate law, banking, civil and criminal law, family law, and intellectual property. With a comprehensive understanding of legal frameworks, court procedures, and government regulations, he is well-known for offering sound legal advice and exceptional representation to his clients.
Throughout his career, Tahmiduzzaman has gained experience working both in law firms and corporate environments. He began his legal career at the turn of the millennium as an apprentice at a law firm, where he developed strong skills in legal research and writing. He later advanced to the role of Junior Associate at the same firm, where he gained significant experience in case management and client consultations. His career further expanded when he took on a pivotal legal role at Warid Telecom International Ltd. (now Robi Axiata PLC), where he was responsible for handling corporate legal matters, including agreements, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
In 2010, Tahmiduzzaman joined United Commercial Bank PLC, where he led the bank’s legal operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and offering strategic legal guidance on corporate governance, contracts, VAT and Tax Governance and litigation as well as deliver the responsivities of Company Secretary.
Since 2025, he has been a partner at Suits Law Firm, where he focuses on providing comprehensive legal counsel to clients, particularly in the corporate and commercial sectors. He represents clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations, always prioritizing their legal and financial interests. In addition, he advises clients on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and dispute resolution, helping them navigate complex legal landscapes.
In addition to his law degree, Tahmiduzzaman holds a Master’s in Social Science from the University of Dhaka and an MBA from Bangladesh Open University, in collaboration with the Commonwealth of Learning, Canada. He was admitted to the Bar Council in 2009 and to the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in 2022. With his extensive experience and commitment to legal excellence, he is dedicated to providing top-tier legal solutions for clients of all sizes and backgrounds.
He is also a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh as a qualified Chartered Secretary.
